Beginners Poetry Workshop
Join a six-week poetry workshop at Blick Studios starting January 19. Sessions will be held on Sundays from 2-4 pm GMT.
This workshop will be a welcoming space to explore and focus on craft. We will share work to give and receive constructive feedback.
Whether you are an experienced poet or just starting out, we all have knowledge to share. All skill levels are welcome!
Intermediate Poetry Workshop
Join a six-week poetry workshop at Blick Studios starting January 21. Sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00 pm GMT.
This workshop is suitable for those who want to build upon an existing writing practice. We will focus on workshopping, editing, and preparing work for publication. Participants will be asked to bring work to discuss with other participants each week. A one-hour one-on-one consultation following the six-week workshop is included in the price.
Decolonial Poetics
Join in a 6-week poetry workshop held at Blick Studios starting January 26. Sessions will be held on Sundays from 5-7 pm GMT.
With a focus on anti-colonial and decolonial poetry, this course will explore how poetry has been used to challenge racism, colonialism, and systems of oppression. Through close reading, discussion, and written explorations, we will develop an understanding of decolonial theories and poetics and how, through poetry, we can decolonize our reading and further our personal practice of decolonization.
